Meet Our Staff

With over 30 years industry experience and 33 years at Meyer Motors, President & Owner Gary Schmidt started at Meyer Motors in 1989. He is involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of the dealership with a hands-on personal approach. His father was the prior owner of Meyer Motors and his grandfather started the dealership in 1926. Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Be sure to say hello when you come through. Gary takes pride in meeting our guests and always has an open door.

With 22 years industry experience and 15 years at Meyer Motors, Steve Schuh started at Meyer Motors in 2007. He worked in various positions throughout the dealership for several years prior. Steve is recognized as an 11 time GM Mark of Excellence Award Winner, as well as Top Honors in his continuing education with GM! Steve’s favorite part about working at Meyer Motors is seeing new relationships grow and maintaining old ones. Steve provides our guests with his positive attitude and an endless knowledge of vehicles.

Janet started with Meyer Motors in June 2011. She enjoys working with both GMC and Buick brands, and also with our guests from Plymouth, Sheboygan County as well as nationwide. “Every day at the dealership brings something new, and that is part of the fun!” Janet’s goal is for all of our guests to have an exceptional experience while at our dealership and satisfaction throughout their vehicle ownership. With over 34 years industry experience and recently beginning her position here at Meyer Motors, Sue Petersen has worked for various businesses as a Finance Manager. Her favorite part about working at Meyer Motors is having the opportunity to meet different customers on a daily basis. She receives satisfaction from helping individuals overcome the financial stress of purchasing vehicles, and also enjoys seeing the relationships that form. Outside of work Sue is a pageant mom and travels around taking her daughter, Mya, to various competitions. She also enjoys attending car shows! Sue takes pride in her work and is knowledgeable in many aspects of sales.

Paul Francis has been part of our Meyer Motors' family since June 2016. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, where he majored in Communications and minored in Sociology. Paul does an exceptional job as a Sales Consultant and “wears a couple other hats at the dealership”. Paul says, “I enjoy working with my teammates and all of the customers that come in. I also enjoy learning about the different vehicles that we have. Every day of work is different and I love it.” Outside of work Paul can be found reading about vehicles, riding his bike, and practicing his new found hobby of ax throwing. Paul’s positive attitude, willingness to help and overall knowledge of vehicles is outstanding and we love having him at our dealership.

Lizzy has been a member of the Meyer Motors team since 2020, bringing her passion for the auto industry and exceptional attention to detail. With previous experience as a detailer, Lizzy has a keen eye for quality and takes great pride in ensuring that every vehicle that comes through our dealership shines. Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys spending time with her family and pets. Her dedication to excellence and willingness to go above and beyond make her a valuable asset to our dealership.

Katie joined our team in March 2024. She graduated from LTC-Cleveland, December 2022 with an Associates Degree in Human Resources and Business Administration. She was previously employed with Home Depot as a merchandiser. Katie enjoys her weekends with family, especially her kids. Most of her free time is spent running her kids from one sporting event to another. She is excited to join the team and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Andrew Ringel has been part of our Meyer Motors' Family since 2015. His favorite part about working at Meyer Motors is interacting with our customers and helping individuals and families find vehicles that are ideal for them. Andrew graduated from Lakeshore Technical College in 2017 with a degree in Marketing. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his beagle, Harley, and occasionally his family. He is a valuable asset on our team and we can always rely on him to assist our customers with any of their vehicle questions or needs.

Drew Golabiewski joined the Meyer Motors team in May of 2024. He moved to Plymouth about a year ago and fell in love with the area. He believes that purchasing a vehicle should be an exciting experience and is looking forward to providing that to our guests. Drew’s background includes manufacturing and some customer service in between. He is happy to be back on the customer service side as he’s missed the daily interactions with people at all stages and with different backgrounds! Outside of work, Drew loves spending time on the lake (during the summer), watching the Brewers and any type of motorsports.

After two years working with his friends in Montana, Connor has returned to help and assist in all areas at Meyer Motors. Connor is excited to be back on the Buick train!

Tony joined the Meyer Motors team in March of 2025. He's lived in Sheboygan County for most of his life. He believes that purchasing a vehicle is a game changer in life and is looking forward to providing that experience to our guests. Tony’s background includes education and some customer service in between. Outside of work, Tony loves spending time with friends and family, officiated football or basketball, and watching any sport he can get his eyes on! Roger has been in automotive since 1977 and with Meyer Motors since 2014. He finds his job rewarding because of the problem solving and collaboration with the people he encounters every day! In his downtime, he enjoys motorsports, dirt track racing, camping, snowmobiling, model railroading and time spent with his grandsons.
