Meyer Motors Food Drive Recap

Drive

To support the Plymouth Food Pantry, Meyer Motors held a food drive aptly named “Stuff the Camaro”. The goal, which was easily attained, was to fill up the Camaro in the showroom. The event was such a success that in total we filled up two Camaro’s and a Mazda Miata in our showroom! It filled an entire crew cab pickup truck and bed as we drove it over to the pantry!

To make the event more fun, we provided additional incentives for people to donate by including a raffle. For every 3 nonperishable items donated, a person received a raffle ticket to place in the bucket of the prize they would like to win. For each personal care item they would receive one ticket and every monetary donation of $5 would receive a ticket as well.

We partnered with local businesses who donated or matched to help make this event great. Our partners were Laziboy Car wash, PJ Campbells at the Depot, Plymouth Cheese Counter, and the Stefanie H. Weil Center for the Performing Arts.

Prizes included were:

Two winners received a month of unlimited ultimate washes at LaziBoy Car Wash.

“A Taste of Wisconsin” Charcuterie board included an assortment of cheeses from the Cheese Counter, cracker assortment, round paddle serving board, local wine and beer.

Two winners received a movie night bundle which included 4 tickets to a movie of your choice at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, popcorn, candy, and snacks in a cute popcorn bucket.

Winners were drawn on December 15th during a Facebook Live event. Pictured below are the final results from our successful food drive! Our sincerest thanks goes out to the community for all their support in making this event a success as well as the businesses that so graciously partnered with us for raffle prizes.
